What This Opportunity Entails (Job Description)
Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth
• projections (Create business development strategies to increase the
• company revenue and brand value.)
• Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and
• other channels
• Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive
• relationships (Generate leads and cold calling prospective customers)
• Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
• Preparing financial projections and sales targets
• Networking with related businesses and fostering B2B relationships
• Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences (Participate
• in seminars and professional meetings to represent the company.)
• Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
• Producing reports for management
• Training business developers and sales colleagues
• Working in a client’s business or an office.
Requirements
• Proven working experience as a business development officer role 5 years and above in a Business Sector
• Proven sales track record of Business Development and Sales
• Education and Learning Systems
• Experience working in or within the Education sector on capacity
• development
• Experience in customer support is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to create business proposals
• Market knowledge
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport (Team Work)
• Time management and planning skills
• BSc/BA/ HND in business administration, sales, or relevant field
