DAILY COURIER – The National Population Commission (NPC) has postponed indefinitely, the training for local government Enumerators and Supervisors earlier slated for April 13.
A press statement by the Director, Public Affairs, Dr Isiaka Yahaya in Abuja on Wednesday noted that the LG-level training for Supervisors and Enumerators was postponed due to some emerging issues.
Yahaya assured a new date will be communicated to the public in due course. He added that the postponement would not affect the conduct of the Population and Housing Census scheduled to hold from May 3 to May 7.
He said that preparations are in top gear saying the commission was ready to conduct a credible and acceptable 2023 Population and Housing Census.
He concluded by advising the public to disregard any contrary information to this.
