Daily Courier – Incumbent Governor Ben Ayade allegedly suffers defeat at APC Senatorial Primaries in Cross River State.

In the result declared by the chairman of the primary election committee, Ushie Innocent, Prof Ben Ayade polled 52 votes; Hon Orim Martins Ojieh scored 61 votes while the winner, Barr. Adams Cecilia polled 140 votes to be returned as the flagbearer of the party.

Governor Ben Ayade is also among the 23 APC presidential aspirant .
