Firstly I congratulate and rejoice with Distinguish Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson ADELEKE on his victory at the polls as the Governor-elect.

This victory is for the good people of Osun.

It is also a testimony of your blueprints during your brief stint at the Red Chamber where you represented as the Senator, Osun West Senatorial District.

The election has come and gone, the good people of Osun have spoken through the ballots. According to the popular saying Vox Populi Vox Dei, voice of people is the voice of God.

Be Magnanimous in victory sir, election is different from governance, and good governance is the best way to write your name in the heart of Osun people who trusted you With their votes.

Please do ensure to deliver all your manifestoes effectively. History they say is the best teacher.

There is no gainsaying the crisis that rocked your party, People’s Democratic Party in the build up to the just concluded election, ranging from abnormalities which created unnecessary factions that erupted and produced a parallel Governorship Primary election where Omo Oba Dotun Babayemi claimed to have been the flagbearer and on the other hand the ‘recognized’ State Working Committee Primary election producing you as their flagbearer.

A reference to what happened in Ondo State 2016, the mistake later caused Ondo PDP defeat to the All Progressive Congress candidate Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu during the Governorship election.

According to history of Osun since 2010, your inauguration as Governor will go down on the 27th day of November, 2022, Mr Governor-elect Sir, when you are constituting your cabinets, please ensure to absorb all factions in your cabinets to avert any hiatus that can mar your administration or give room for a repeat of Zamfara 2019 tsunami.

Be magnanimous.

May your tenure be successful, peaceful and fruitful to the good people of Osun State.

Once again congratulations your Excellency Sir.
