• As ANIM decorates her as patron

DAILY COURIER – As part of the renewed efforts to have peace and unity in the country ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Chief Executive Officer, African Union Development Agency-the New Partnership for Africa’s Development, AUDA-NEPAD, Princes Groria Akobundu has called for issue based and violence free campaigns.

Akubundu gave this message Wednesday October 19, 2022 when she received a group of political association, All Progressive Congress-National Integrity Movement, APC-ANIM, who paid him a courtesy visit in her NEPAD headquarters office Abuja.

She noted that the need for Nigerians to embrace unity and peaceful coexistence, devoid of violence cannot be overstressed, adding that without peace, there will be no meaningful development and growth in the country

In her message, she prayed to God to give Nigerians good leaders that can advance this country to an enviable position in terms of growth and economic development.

“APC have made their choice by producing Bola Ahmed Tinubu as presidential candidate, other parties have made their choice as well, but in the real sense, Asiwaju is a very good candidate considering what he did in Lagos when he was governor.

“With his developmental strategies, ideas, vision and productivity, I strongly believe he is going to perforem well when he gets there. He will advance our development; he will rule in social confidence and create jobs for our teeming youths.

Meanwhile, the national leader of ANIM, Sadiq Abubakar, thanked AUDA-NEPAD boss for her performance so far since she became the Chief Executive of the Agency.

However, Abubakar said that the group as an integrity movement has to do with the legacy of APC, legacy of the present administration and credibility of the candidate.

The group (ANIM), having looked into her integrity and what she has achieved for many who have testified, Princess Akubundu was gloriously decorated at the event by leaders of the ANIM as the national patron of group.
