DAILY COURIER – The Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS), under the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment in collaboration with National Population Commission, held a sensitization workshop on the imperatives of census for organized labour at MINILS Auditorium, Ilorin, Kwara State.

 

The Commission is partnering with the MINILS to reach out to all Nigerian workers to get involved in the forthcoming 2023 Population and Housing Census.

 

The Director-General/CEO of MINILS, Issa Aremu while making his remarks, assured the Commission the support of the Institute to sensitize and mobilize the workers to participate and submit themselves to be counted in the upcoming Census exercise.

 

Meanwhile, as part of the engagement with the critical stakeholders to create awareness, galvanise support, and mobilize the populace to get ready for the forthcoming 2023 Population and Housing Census, the Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa kwarra and his team visited the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Prof. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR at his Palace in Ilorin, Kwara State on 4th May 2023.
